Woke up late today b/c I couldn't sleep last night...and I get a msg on MSN from Jerome (who never in a million years msgs me! lol) "We have a new Pope!" I ran to turn on the TV to watch CNN as it broadcasted the crowd and St. Peter's Square, the balcony window, the bells and the chimney with white smoke for about an hour before the official promclamation of the new pontiff was made. I was both excited and joyful...happy to see that our Church family has a new leader, and I do believe that God will guide him to enforce the Catholic doctrines and to lead His people with love and wisdom =D
Was talking to Flo and I figured that no matter how old I get, "Pope" to me will always be JPII. Maybe because I got to "see" him 2 times @ WYD2002, or maybe because he did so much for the Catholic Church that I cannot imagine a faith that was any other than this. I do believe that he is looking down on us from heaven now, with each and everyone of us in his prayers.
Today was supposed to be my "study day"...HAHAHA!! What a joke, eh? =P It's almost 6pm and I'm debating if I should take a nap before dinner. Gonna head out to Markville to visit Flo @ work and then we're gonna go out for tong sui =) *yayy* I miss my sister~
Been doing a lot of shopping lately...(hehehe) but still didn't get Jai's bday present yet!! Must get tonight!!! haha...or else we're just mailing him the tee =P I don't know why, but I find that its a lot more fun when I shop for other people. Maybe because I have the problem of not liking something after its paid for..haha...or so my dad thinks. I got a lot of "work" clothes, and they all make me look girly and sophisticated *weird*

Ahem... umm.. yeah.. that's cool. =P
As for the new Pope, yeah, I know what you mean. Seeing the new Pope on tv.. it seemed unreal. I'll always remem JP2 as well. But we'll see where Ben 16 will lead us. Definitely an interesting time.
