Well, I'll give you the answer I would give anybody else.
Yes, it is important, but in the sense that it is required to survive in our current society. The only thing is that one should not make money the primary objective to the point that they are blinded by it.
One also cannot say money doesn't matter. It does! When it comes down to it, when you have bills to pay and a house to keep, it WILL matter.
Keep everything in the right perspective and be realistic. It's hard, but that's what we gotta do...

Each of us values different things in our life differently. "Money" is on a different scale for each one of us because of experiences and many other reasons. We may be no agree but try not to let that difference affect your friendship =)
btw.....since we are on this issue.....i think you agreed that you're going to "yeung'ing" me right? right..haha
